FAQs
-
We are a private-pay practice, which means we do not bill insurance directly. However, many clients use out-of-network (OON) benefits to receive reimbursement. We simplify this process and can provide superbills or walk you through how to submit them.
-
Insurance often requires therapists to give clients a formal diagnosis and limits the number of sessions. By working privately, we can offer confidential, customized care, without the red tape or forced labels.
-
If you have OON benefits, your insurance company may reimburse a significant portion of your session cost.
-
Session rates vary by therapist and specialization, typically from $175 to $250 per session. Some clinicians offer reduced-fee slots on a limited basis.
-
New clients are scheduled quickly, sometimes as soon as the same week. We respond promptly and offer virtual or in-person sessions based on your needs.
-
Our therapists specialize in working with professionals, couples, and LGBTQIA+ clients around trauma, anxiety, burnout, identity issues, and relationship challenges. Every clinician at SWPA has certifications in their area of expertise and several years of experience.
-
Only if you request insurance documentation. Otherwise, we focus on helping you feel seen, not diagnosed. Therapy with us is human first, not diagnosis first.
