Sue Steinbruecker is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She has worked for many years as a psychotherapist in private practice with Southwest Psychotherapy. Sue received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Valparaiso (Indiana) University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and has a certificate in family studies from Northwestern University. Sue brings clinical experience in healthcare settings to her practice (MD Anderson, UTMB, Houston Hospice). Sue offers special expertise in working with people facing life altering illness and those amid loss and grief. Sue helps those struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties and other crises. It is Sue’s goal to provide a safe environment where clients can explore difficult issues. Sue employs an active style of practice that is both direct and supportive, always focused on client-centered solutions that bring improved communication skills, healthier self-esteem, a better sense of control in their lives. She enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families. Sue helps people navigate life’s greatest transitions, implementing positive change in their lives, personally and in their relationships.
